Mugithi artist, DJ Fatxo, has found himself embroiled in a case involving the death of his colleague, Jeff. Jeff was alleged to have committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of Safari Park Estate in Kasarani. However, fresh details suggest that Jeff could have been murdered, and the suicide story was only a cover-up to protect the perpetrators.

Jeff’s family insists that he was killed inside DJ Fatxo’s house and then thrown from the top floor to make it look like suicide.

According to CCTV footage being reviewed by the police, DJ Fatxo, accompanied by three ladies, was seen entering the building where Jeff was. Later, at 4 am, they left the apartment, leaving Jeff there in the company of two other men before he fell from the upper floor. Netizens noted that DJ Fatxo did not make any posts mourning Jeff or even attend his burial, despite them being quite close.

Meanwhile, DJ Fatxo has also been linked to a cryptic Facebook post made a day before Jeff’s death. The post, which reads, “Leo nimeona nikumbushe the wages of sin is death” (Today I thought I’d remind you folks that the wages of sin is death), has raised eyebrows among his followers, especially coming so close to Jeff’s death. It remains unclear what drove the disc jockey to make the post or whether it is related to Jeff’s death.

Reports now show that Jeff had spent the day with DJ Fatxo, who had contracted him for some interior decor in his shop. The family is now demanding justice, saying their son did not harbour any thoughts of harming himself, as the police were told. The case continues to raise more questions than answers, and investigations are ongoing.
